Diploma Supplement

The Diploma Supplement is a document attached to a higher education diploma providing a standardised description of the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies that were successfully completed by the graduate. The Diploma Supplement provides transparency and facilitates academic and professional recognition of qualifications (diplomas, degrees, certificates). The Diploma Supplement at GIT is being issued in English, given automatically and free of charge to every student upon his/her graduation.

DIPLOMA SUPPLEMENT LABEL AWARDED TO GIT

Gebze Institute of Technology was awarded the prestigious Diploma Supplement Label by the European Commission in June 2009. The Label is valid from 2009 to 2013.
This label is awarded to those higher education institutions that strictly follow the principles of the internationalization of higher education in Europe as laid down in the Bologna Declaration.
By awarding The Diploma Supplement Label the European Commission acknowledges that all GIT graduates at Bachelor and Master degree levels are issued with their Diploma Supplement. The Supplement meets strict European criteria and is issued free of charge.
